AIDS : an Islamic solution

The figures are alarming. Around 40 million people on this globe are affected by HIV. This disease has been creating havoc for 20 years and caused the life of 20 million. Yong age population between 14-24 yrs consist about half the total infected (that means 20 million!!). Similarly women represent around half the total affected population (again 20 million). In 2003, almost 5 million people got newly affected by HIV, the greatest number since the outbreak of the epidemic. Every day around 12,000 person are joining the AIDS club, half of them are young. It's the No. 1 death cause in Africa and No. 4 in the world.

Eastern Asia is the fastest growing region for this disease where a 50% increase is noticed between 2002 and 2004. The second fastest region is Eastern Europe and Central Asia with an increase of 40%. Russia has the largest epidemic in Europe. Brazil has by far the most people living in AIDS. The worst affected region by HIV is the sub-Saharan Africa where a prevalence of close to 6% is observed in some countries and this region alone represents around 65% of the worlds HIV cases. The second worse affected region is the Caribbean islands. High income countries (US and Western Europe) are not safe from this disease. Here, some advanced antiretroviral treatment prolonged the life expectations. The affected has doubled between 1997 and 2002 in western Europe, and in UK it is the fastest growing serious health problem. The region of North Africa and Middle East (that is the Islamic Countries) remains the safest among the whole globe, I will explain later why that is so!

The Biology of AIDS/HIV

Allah -the exalted- has created within our body a defense system. It is a whole group of army with weapons and fighting techniques. This army has commanders-in-chief and it works with a defined strategy. One of the main officers in this army is CD4+ cells which orchestrates the operation of defense when invaders attack! when this cell is present in abundant (between 600-1200 per cubic millimeter of blood) then the war is never won by the invaders (i.e., viruses). However, when it's number goes below 200 cells per cubic millimeter of blood, then the patient is said to be affected by HIV.

HIV is such a virus who knows that CD4+ is the most important officer in this army. It overlooks all cells and systems and goes directly to CD4+. Where it hijacks this cell and inserts it's own gene in the poor cell's DNA and uses that to manufacture new viruses which go and kill other CD4+s, in this way the CD4+ starts to diminish. At later stages the body becomes so vulnerable to any attackers and just a small pneumonia can take the life!

It's amazing how Allah has set punishment to this person when he followed Satan and exercised illegal sexual activities. When this person did not observe Allah's instructions, Allah sent into his body a cunning army that knows exactly what to do! The worse thing one expects is a defenseless stand in front of barbaric attackers.

There is no cure to the disease. Only few extremely expensive medications (i.e., antiretroviral) to delay the process of hijacking CD4+. However, HIV by now is finding more intelligent ways to hijack and the medications need to be made more sophisticated (exactly same as the terrorism and anti-terrorism race towards sophistication by al-Qaeda from one side and US intelligence from other!). The invention of such medication gave a wrong impression to many high-income countries, who -after being cautious for a while- started again to indulge in their low lusts and desires!

The Western Solution

The materialistic west -who promotes individualism- gives freedom for any kind of sexual activity. No divine law is promoted under the roof of official materialistic world. Now, it is natural when man leads a life where there is no higher objective -just animal objectives- then the mankind must face a hard blow down it's highway. Hearing the slogan of individual freedom the mass population rushed to satisfy it's desires: they started to have sex outside marriage, then they thought it's a good idea -when there is no punishment- to go for homosexuality and similarly when feeling boring there is no harm to try it on animals!! Then HIV came to remind the materialistic west that destructing the defense system of the free individual is a prior sign of destructing the backbone of the whole materialistic world. However, the west got the message wrong. The west continued to grant individuals freedom in their sex activities (some states in US have legalized same-sex marriage). When AIDS started to threaten the life of millions, solution rushed in. But, are they really solution?

Educating individuals on HIV and distributing condoms are among the best solutions west could produce! Since, HIV is the problem, and it transmits through (illegal) sex, then the solution is NOT to stop the illegal sex, rather to stop the transmission. Wear a condom and then enjoy sex!! This is the banner the biggest western gurus are promoting. World Health Organizations, UN, World Bank, etc. all these global organizations are in the same boat. World Bank are carrying on "huge" projects to build medical center to test HIV and distribute condoms and educate people. Do they educate them to abstain from sex outside marriage, because it is against the instruction of our creator? never, religion is the last word to be uttered by a World Bank or a UN employee!

So, why is AIDS a headache to the materialistic west? According to Manila 2004 AIDS conference, these are some of the reasons:

1. Population: we need to combat AIDS because it drops population! Well, Mr. West, I thought population is a problem that is facing the world according to UN and this is why they promote family planning (in Muslim countries) and this sheds light on which group of population the west wants to increase and which group the west wants to destroy (i.e., the Muslims).
2. Women: we need to combat AIDS because the girls are dropping from school and workplace to take care of HIV parents or siblings. Well, Mr. West, so what should they do? are you happy if she continues to go to school and let her parents die without care? The hidden agenda is that woman must be out of home to corrupt young men, and anything that stands in front of her getting out must be abhorred, and this is why HIV is bad!
3. Poverty and Hunger: we need to combat AIDS because the treatment is very costly, and those poor people can not afford it. Well, Mr. West, why don't you tell Mr. Bush -who sanctions millions of dollars every week to kill Muslims in Iraq- give a 0.001% of its budget to these poor Africans to get the treatment.
4. Agriculture and Rural Development: we need to combat AIDS because many farmers are dying of AIDS and that will have impact on agriculture. Well, Mr. West, if agriculture and rural development was so important to you, then the tons of bombs that destroyed falluja should have made you sad!
5. Education: we need to combat AIDS because many students are dying while they are at school. well, then the whole education system is collapsed in Iraq by the bombs of Americans, just to search for weapons of mass destruction!! and then never find them..
6. Health Sector: we need to combat AIDS because HIV killed many doctors and nurses, then who will take care of the patients!
7. Workforce: we need to combat AIDS because all those who work to operate a country will die. well, thousand, workforce died in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, etc. and nobody cares!

And now let us turn our attention to some of the prevention methods that the western gurus have discovered:

1. AIDS education and awareness: and that is to educate people to use condoms and continue the sex!
2. Behavioral Change: that also means a change from sex-without-condom to sex-with-condom. If a person has 10 partners they will advice him -at best- to have one, but never tell him to get rid of them all and enjoy under legal marriage framework.
3. Promoting condoms: because the only problem is this culprit virus, so if the virus is checked anything else is OK.
4. Change laws and Policies to combat stigma and discrimination: Stigma in their vocabulary is referred to the discrimination gays and lesbian suffer. According to them, this "honorable" community must lead a normal life and doing so will reduce HIV! A funny west indeed!!

Results on the ground shows that with these prevention methods the HIV started to rise drastically. No need then to say, all these methods were a big failure..

The Islamic Solution:

Prophet Muhammad- peace be upon him- said it 14 hundred years back that: Whenever a community indulges in illegal sex and it becomes openly practiced, Allah then punishes this community with new kind of disease and infections that were unknown to their previous generations!

Is there any prophesy more accurate and precise than this information 1400 years back. To Muslims, the root cause of this epidemic is very clear , and as a result Muslim societies are the least affected by this virus. The west -when gives statistics of HIV- divides the world map into regions, but they never have made Muslim world into one entity -just to prevent themselves from falling into big embarrassment- but the region indicated by North Africa & Middle East gives a clear indication.

Islam has a detailed code of ethics when it comes to sexual relations. Men are allowed to have sex under legal marriage to a woman. He can marry as many as 4 and have sex as well with maid slaves. The west attacks Islam because it permits polygamy. I know exactly why it attacks Islam? Because, polygamy satisfies sex in legal way and nothing illegal goes in secret, this makes a society pure and free from diseases, the west does not like that, they want a society full of impurities and disease, they want man to stick only to one wife, then have 100s of girlfriends and also can practice sodomy, and if needed with animals as well, but never marry two wives, it is un-civilized act!!

Why HIV is a problem according to Islam?

It's main cause is illegal sex, and that is one of the major destructive sins in Islam, it cause the wrath of Allah to fall on a community that practices Jina (adultery and fornication). Even, if there were no diseases, still the illegal sex will remain forbidden in Islam. All the other reasons that troubles the west still troubles Muslims but those reasons comes after the first one.

Prevention of HIV according to Islam:

1. Homosexuality is punished by death penalty.
2. Adultery (illegal sex by a married person) is also punished by death penalty.
3. Fornication (illegal sex between un-married persons) is also prohibited and causes punishment (flogging and deportation).
4. Drug addiction is prohibited, same as the case with wine and other alcoholic drinks.
5. All sort of sex depictions in satellite channels, magazines, movies, pornography in the internet, is prohibited in Islam. These images leaves a bad impact in the heart, and the one who watches them can not prevent these scenes to re-bounce in his mind, and the person becomes addicted and only "temporarily" relieved when he could satisfy through sexual activity.
6. Promotion of Fasting between the young: because this age carries a huge sexual desire, and fasting (abstinence from food, drink and sex during daytime) is a wonderful measure to check this powerful urge.
7. No free-mixing between men and women: in schools, universities, work places, parties, etc. Allah has creates both sexes and made one get attracted to other and He knows exactly what harm the illegal sex will have on society. AIDS is only one part of it.
8. Getting Early Marriage when affordable: according to west, it is a big crime when a boy of 18 yrs or a girl of say 15 gets marriage, whereas, it is a good adventure when they have a joyful night together (of course with condom)! Islam promotes early marriage, so 100 of crime-doors are closed in front of this young couple.
9. Even when having sex with wife, Islam prohibits intercourse in the rectum.
10. Music and Songs that initiates sex is prohibited in Islam. Music and alcohol acts like enzymes that speeds-up the process of getting opposite-sex in sexual relations.

And the list goes on, and only few are mentioned. This shows really that Islam came with codes that prevents all problems a society ought to face when they try to proceed without Islam. I am sure if the scientists found a treatment whereby HIV is prevented from hijacking CD4+ cells, and the west continues to give freedom of sex for individuals, then a new brother of HIV will come which might hijack more critical parts in our body.
